Crochet rug... Still in Progress!!

I thought I would share my progress, as slow as it may be, with you on the crocheted fabric rug that I am working on. As I often do I actually pulled the it completely apart and started over because some of my stitches weren't even. So, now I am past the point of no return. The first fabric is gone and I am now working with another green fabric that I love! It is very simple with a cream flower on it and I love that it isn't the exact same shade of green. I am finding that this project is so nice because I can put it down no matter where I am in it and come right back to it without getting turned around or lost in the "pattern". :) I hope to share a picture of the one my friend is making soon. She is working hers in a square with Americana colors! It is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Kristy, this is going to be so nice. How big will it end up I wonder. It is nice to have a project you can just pick up anytime and find your place.
Love you, Gramma

I would love to know the pattern you use to make these. I have a couple places in my house where I would like to have these. I have always wanted them but couldn't afford the price tag. You have a wonderful site!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Hope you come again soon.

Did you ever finish it? I'm thinking about using some of the kids old clothes (you know because they stain EVERYTHING) for a similar project! Got any advice for me? Oh yes and I really miss your regular posts!

Proverbs 31: 10-31

While the woman described in Proverbs 31 may seem to be unatainable, I have made it my goal to learn as much as is possible about her in order to make myself a more capable and virtuous woman in God's eyes.
