The beautiful fall colors are so warm and inviting so I decided to bring some of those lovely natural colors into my home. This was such a simple project and quick as well but so wonerful for a centerpiece! Unfortunately I could not get the pictures to do it justice but I wanted to share the idea with you! This is so easy! All you do is buy a pumpkin that is flat on the bottom and cut the top off. Then hollow it out. Next you wet some floral foam and put it in the bottom of the pumpkin. Now add fresh cut flowers. It is a wonderful centerpiece that will last for a few weeks. This could be done with squash as well. The thick rinds will stay healthy for some time after being cut open! What have you done to bring the outdoors in to your home?

This is really a beautiful centerpiece. You are such a very talented girl. Tell Haali I hope she has a great competion this weekend.
Love you all, Gramma
It's beautiful! I love using things from the outdoors to decorate with. I went out and gathered some pinecones from the yard and will be using them in a wreath for the front door.
Thanks for sharing your pretty centerpiece.
Blessings,Shelley
Too cute. I love it. Sorry I'm behind, coming back from vacation and getting back into the routine...is hard. Especially when I was in 85 Florida last week and snowing in Canton this week.
That centrepiece is just too cute. What a great idea!
I was thinking of you a couple of weeks ago as my son and I stopped in the Salmon Run Mall for a late lunch. We were on our way home from a Bunny show in Syracuse and I had a car full of Bunnies. I hope that you and the kids are doing well and are keeping your spirits up.
Oh that's just amazing, I love it! And you posted this on my son's birthday, although I didn't see this post until today :-)
I finally remembered to check out your blog! We missed you last week, hopefully we will see you today! Hope you are doing great!! Love the blog by the way...I snooped around a little! :) See you soon!
Kristen, the flowers in the pumpkin look so pretty! The other day when I was taking a walk around the neighborhood, I noticed that one house had mums in pumpkins surrounding their walkway. It looked so welcoming ~ and different!
Hugs, Joanne
