I'm OK! :)

I am sorry that I haven't been blogging lately. I have to be completely honest in saying that I just haven't been myself lately. So what do you do when you are down and attempting to keep your spirits up? Eat ice cream of course! We stopped at Milk and Honey, a local ice cream/candy shop and had a ONE SCOOP cone on our way home from Amish Country. Yep, that is ONE SCOOP. I am not a big ice cream eater, so I ended up throwing away most of it, but the cone was great! :) Just so you are all up to date, my husband is safely at his destination and doing well. So far we have been able to talk to him often. We miss him very much but know that the best thing we can do for all of us is to keep on doing things and keep our spirits up. So we are doing our best. :) HUGS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!

That was a hugh ice cream cone. You really did throw away almost all of the ice cream though. Glad you are here.
Love you bunches, Gramma

Hey Ditty! You and I could share a cone since I like the ice cream and not the cone. LOL! The ice cream part of it looks great and I know about the 'one scoop' there. That is a scoop for giants. :)

Love and hugs ~

LOVE that picture! So glad you are in town this week and visiting Gramma. Thank YOU so much for visiting today. I just love to see you. I only wish we lived so much closer. Lily loved playing w/Mitchell. She took the picnic basket to bed with her! LOL! You have raised two wonderful children. You are an amazing woman. Please remember that I am here for you anytime. Love you!

Hi Kristen, good to hear from you. Glad your husband made it safely. I will remember to pray for you all....that ice cream looks yummy. We have been having some hot weather here in Texas,an ice cream like that might really cool a body down(smile).

Blessings,Shelley

It's good to hear that you are getting along. Just after my DH went to the middle east a neighbour had big "Welcome Home" signs on the lawn. This really set off the waterworks for me...not a good day for me.

Big Hugs...he'll be back before you know it.

Oh my, that is one huge scoop of ice cream. Don't worry about not blogging; some seasons of life make things like blogging very difficult.

Proverbs 31: 10-31

While the woman described in Proverbs 31 may seem to be unatainable, I have made it my goal to learn as much as is possible about her in order to make myself a more capable and virtuous woman in God's eyes.
